True Blue Dog Food Review

There isn’t anything good about this food and it’s an insult to Australians calling it “True Blue”. A bag of waste products from the milling industry is not what our Australian dogs deserve.

It’s as simple as that. If you’re adamant about buying Australian then find something else. It’s low in protein and high in carbs, and the reason for that is it’s full of cheap filler and no decent meat content.

The ironically named “The Great Australian Petfood Company” also makes Boomer and Winning Edge. I wouldn’t recommend those either.

Ingredients

Wholegrains, wheat, sorghum, meat meal (beef & lamb), cooked cereal meal, poultry meal, hominy, wheaten pollard, tallow, salt, vitamins A, D3, E, K, B1, B6, B12, niacin, biotin, folic, pantothenate, choline, minerals, zinc, iron, iodine, preservative.

  1. My dogs were the same. The will eat anything. But it took them 2 days to even touch the food. Ever time I put it out they just walk away. At the shops now buying some actual dog food!!

  2. I think that True Blue dog food so called Complete and balanced has been mixed up with Enfield’s mulch as that is what it looks like when watered down in the hopes that your dogs will eat it. My dogs hate it and one of them took 3 complete days of no feed to fuss with it, and then only ate it when I disguised it. It is absolute garbage.
