Bone broth is extremely simple to make and very beneficial. Once the broth is made it can be stored in the fridge or even frozen.
A slow cooker (about $40)
- Meat – Can be soup bones (such as beef), turkey legs, chicken feet, chicken necks. You can use a mixture if you like.
- Apple Cider Vinegar
Put the meat in the slow cooker and fill with enough water to cover the meat. Add some apple cider vinegar which helps extract the nutrients from the bones.
Cook on low for 20 to 24 hours.
Add 1 or 2 tablespoons of turmeric and cook for a further 10 minutes.
All done. How simple is that? You can add it to fresh meats, vegetables, or pour on top of kibble.
